We're thrilled to announce the official launch of the Chintu AI Desktop App — your real-time AI career platform, now available as a native application for Windows 10/11.

Why a Desktop App?

Browser-based tools have limitations. They lack access to system-level audio capture, and they can't create truly unobtrusive overlays. The Chintu Desktop App solves all of these problems.

Protected Overlay Technology — Chintu renders as a system-level overlay that stays discreet during screen sharing and recording. It uses hardware-level window affinitization (SetWindowDisplayAffinity) so that your meeting tools run smoothly without interference.

Sub-200ms Latency — Our native implementation bypasses browser overhead, delivering AI responses in under 200 milliseconds. That's faster than you can blink.

Hold-Space Voice Capture — Simply hold the spacebar to capture audio from any source. Chintu transcribes and analyzes in real-time, providing context-aware answers.

Vision Intelligence (OCR) — Take instant snapshots of coding problems, diagrams, or multiple-choice questions. Chintu's vision engine reads and understands them instantly.

Screenshot Previews — A native preview window displays the captured region, allowing you to confirm exactly what you're submitting to the vision AI before it gets processed.

Multi-Monitor Support — Multi-display configurations are natively supported. Chintu automatically maps your screen captures to your primary display ID, ensuring the correct window is captured every single time.

Getting Started

Download the app from our download page, sign in with your existing account, and you're ready to go. If Windows SmartScreen displays a warning, click 'More Info' then 'Run Anyway'. Log in using our secure deep-link portal to automatically sync your settings.

The desktop app is available for all plans — Free, Professional, and Elite. If the app freezes or key captures stop working, locate the Chintu icon in your Windows system tray, right-click and select 'Quit', then relaunch the app.
